Jim King
Jim King is an accomplished singer, musician and performer.  The artist has
original vocal hits, Cindy Lou, Lone Star Beer and a Sweet Tater.  On most of
the 13 albums Jim is playing harmony on twin guitars.  At his shows you will be
able to hear unique styles of this fine guitarist, classical, country and jazz.  Jim
is a guitarist with a stunning and broad command of his instrument.  His
timeless affirming music seamlessly fuses tradition with a more contemporary
sound that appeals to all generations.

As a "Native" Texan, Jim has now moved back to his home state to live full
time and has put together a great band of fellow Texas musicians.  They have
fun on stage and make sure that everyone who comes to see them also has a
good time, whether they dance or just come to listen to their music and visit
with their friends.

Jim's band is comprised of professional musicians who are rehearsed and
ready to play.
Jim King started his professional career by performing on live radio on
KIMO in Independence, MO, 4 shows a week, at the age of 14.

Also appeared on the Cow Town Jubilee with Hobie Shep.  Shortly after
that Jim performed in the house band "Frankie Reb & the Rebels" at the
Chestnut Inn.  This was where all the stars came to perform in the
Kansas City, Missouri area.

He has traveled with many tours including the Maggie and Scotty Show
from the Grand Ole’ Opry, Merle Travis and Hank Thompson.  Jim also
sang and played lead guitar with the “Nogales Brass”, an 11 piece Tex-
Mex, big band sound that traveled throughout the Midwest.

In Kansas City, MO, he played the Club Royal, 6 nights a week and the
Englewood Opry and was the band leader for 8 years and did the
arrangements and recordings for Jimmy Dallas of “Drinking Champagne”
fame.  Jim has also appeared on many opry shows throughout the
country and played with great legendary country artists including Narvel
Felts, Cal Smith, Ray Price as well as many others.  For the past 8 years,
Jim has traveled extensively throughout the country on his own beautiful
Silver Eagle Coach and has played many venues from concerts to fairs
and festivals.  Christian crusades, corporate events, television to political
events and touring with national acts.
